2016 JUNO win

CTV cropped junos

APRIL 2016: I feel deeply honoured to have won the JUNO and ECMA for ‘Classical Composition of the Year’. The awards recognize recorded pieces released in the year 2015, and my wins were for ‘Two Pop Songs on Antique Poems’. This 2014 composition of mine was spectacularly performed by the Afiara String Quartet and recorded/produced by Pouya Hamidi,¬†Theresa Leonard & Centrediscs/Naxos. Once again, my sincere thanks to all the amazing people who brought this music to life, and captured it so beautifully for posterity.
